Leonard John Rothlingshofer

Leonard John Rothlingshofer, 74 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Sunday, December 1, 2013, after a long illness at Citizens Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center , Havre de Grace, MD.  Born February 10, 1939 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Leonard George and Katherine Horn Rothlingshofer Kellam. Mr. Rothlingshofer was a member of the Elks, BPOE 1564, Havre de Grace, MD, a Past Grand Night of the Knights of Columbus No. 2002, Moose Lodge of Aberdeen, MD, the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, the Perryville American Legion and the Church of the Good Shepherd, Perryville, MD. He was retired from Andrews Air Force base as a civil engineer. Mr. Rothlingshofer was a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves and MD. Army National Guard. Mr. Rothlingshofer is survived by his wife of 51 years, Maricath Rinaldo Rothlingshofer. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2013, 1 PM, at Church of the Good Shepherd , Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, December 6, 2013, 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM, at the funeral home. Father Jay McKee of the Good Shepherd Parish, Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Erin Cemetery, Havre de Grace, MD. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation for all the care and kindness shown to Leonard by all the employees of the Riverwalk section during his stay at the nursing home.
