Lois Marie Wilson, 83 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born December 22, 1933 in Port Deposit, MD, she was the daughter of the late Crosier Elton and Virginia Dare Bumgarner Poff.
Lois enjoyed sewing. She loved camping and crabbing with family. She also liked to garden – canning lots of her own fruits and vegetables. But most of all we will remember and miss her fun sense of humor and how she loved to laugh.
Lois was formerly employed by Nottingham Cannery of Nottingham, PA, where she worked for 15 years with many family members and friends.
Lois is survived by her husband, Edward Marion Wilson of Port Deposit, MD; daughters, Debra Caldwell and husband, Michael B. Caldwell, Sr., of Conowingo, MD, and Donna Wilson of Havre de Grace, MD; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren with one on the way; and sister, Dorothy M. Molloy.
Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter L. Poff and Charles E. Poff; and sister, Ruth A. Curry.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2017, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, January 9, 2017, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Asbury United Methodist Church, Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
