Louise Francis (Jennings) Leonard

Louise F. Leonard, 67 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, passed away peacefully at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore on September 23, 2014. Born in Oatland, VA, on February 22, 1947 Louise was the daughter of the late Jessie and Violet Jennings. She loved and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, as well as her companion "Missy". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leonard, in 2011. She is survived by two sons, Donald and his wife, Pamela, of Rising Sun, Paul and wife, Dawn, of Colora; six grandchildren, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Cole Leonard, Emilie Weldy, Cody and Garrett Leonard; and her caring friend, Bus Keyes. A service honoring her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 1713 Liberty Grove Road, Colora, MD. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. for friends and family with services starting at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery, Colora, MD.
