Lucille Elizabeth (Sadler) Price

Lucille Elizabeth Sadler Price, 79 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away late Monday evening, April 17, 2017 at her home. Born March 28, 1938 in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Mabel Warner Sadler. Mrs. Price was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, where she was in charge of all funeral meals at the church. She was also a member of the PVBC Senior Coffee Group and a member of the PVBC Choir. She was formerly employed by the V.A. Maryland Health Care System of Perry Point, MD. Mrs. Price is survived by her one son, James L. Sadler, Jr. of Port Deposit, MD; and one brother Allan R. Sadler. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Claude Price, who passed away earlier on the same day, Monday, April 17, 2017; her brothers, Henry Sadler and James L. Sadler, Sr.; and her sisters, Mary Guarino and Evelyn Vaughn. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, April 24, 2017, 11 AM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, April 23, 2017, 6 PM until 8 PM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
