Marcia Gail (Gilman) Barclay

Marcia Gail Gilman-Barclay, 75 years, of North East, MD, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at home. Born December 4, 1942 in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Dawson Seaton and Frances Johnnie Poole Gilman. Mrs. Barclay was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, and is survived by her daughter, Lisa Robin Gilman of Havre de Grace, MD; four grandchildren, Stephanie Wooden, Matthew Gilman, Makayla Farley and Michael Farley, Jr.; and sister, Mary Lee Gilman Ayers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barclay was preceded in death by her husband, John David Barclay; brothers, John Austin Gilman and Stephen Poole Gilman. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 1 PM, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Principio Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
