Marcus Ardelle Johnson

Marcus Ardelle Johnson, 91 yrs, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 in the V.A. Maryland HealthCare System of Perry Point, MD. Born February 3, 1925 in Morrisville, MD, he was the son of the late Louis and Zula Kessinger Johnson. Marcus served in the U.S. Army as a private during WWII and was a retired minister associated with Church of God HDQ of Cleveland, TN. He is survived by his wife, Beaula Asbury Johnson; son, Larry Marcus Johnson; daughter, Carolyn Credle; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Marcus was preceded in death by his twin sister, Janelle Brown; remaining siblings; brothers, Lorin, Martin and Marvin Johnson; and sister, Rosie McNee. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2016, 1 PM, at Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
