Margaret "Peggy" Ew Ford

Margaret EW “Peggy” Ford, age 92 of Port Deposit, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 27, 2017. Peggy was born on Perry Point and was a lifelong Port Deposit resident.  She worked at the US Post Office in Port Deposit for 46 years.  She was a lifelong member of the Port Deposit Presbyterian Church where she was an elder.  She loved music and was a member of the following choirs:  Cecil County Choral Society; Port Deposit Community Choir; and Port Deposit Presbyterian Church Choir. Peggy is survived by her cousins, Julie K. Black (Ernest), Rebecca May (Brandon), Lauren Adkins (Jared) and her longtime friend, Norman Abrahams. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 13th in the Port Deposit Presbyterian Church, 44 South Main Street, Port Deposit, MD 21904 where friends are invited to visit from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
