Marianne Burrows Lilley

Marianne Burrows Lilley, 83 yrs, of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Perryville, MD, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in North Collier Hospital of Naples, FL. Born September 26, 1930 in Perryville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Abner Leslie and Violet Elizabeth Thomas Burrows. Marianne was a member of the United Methodist Church of Perryville, the Eastern Star, Worthy Grand Matron, State of Maryland, 1984, and Ladies Auxiliary to the Perryville Fire Company. Marianne is survived by her sons, Charles W. Lilley of Conowingo, MD, Richard W. Lilley of Cape Coral, FL, Keith W. Lilley and Kevin W. Lilley, both of Bonita Springs, FL; daughter, Jacqueline A. Chapman of Herford, NC; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marianne was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Tinker” William Lilley and sister, Jeanee Penrose. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD  21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Herb Cain, Jr., of Hopewell United Methodist of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
