Marie (Jones) Woodrow

Marie Jones Woodrow, 86 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Friday, January 4, 2013 in Jennersville Regional Hospital of West Grove, PA.  Born August 8, 1926 in Laurel Springs, NC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lester and Bettie Irvin Jones. Mrs. Woodrow was a homemaker and a member of Conowingo Baptist Church of Conowingo, MD. She is survived by her son, John William Woodrow of Conowingo, MD; daughter, Peggy Ann Damron of Greensboro, NC; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woodrow was preceded in death by her husband, William Nelson Woodrow; daughter, Betty Jean Griffin; brothers, Robert Jones, Everette Jones, Edmund Jones, Howard Jones, Odell Jones; sisters, Lola Richardson, Edna Eckard, Delia Jones and Dorothy Jones. A memorial service has been scheduled for Thursday, January 10, 2013, 7 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013, 6 PM until 7 PM, at the funeral home prior to the memorial service. Rev. Brian Killough of Rising Sun, MD, will officiate.
