Marion Roberta (Mccardell) Fox

Marion Roberta McCardell Fox, 84 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Monday, January 13, 2014 in Calvert Manor Healthcare Center of Rising Sun, MD. Born February 1, 1929 in Liberty Grove, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin R., Sr. and Helen Banks McCardell. Mrs. Fox was secretary for Good Shepherd Rectory of Perryville, MD, for many years. She went on to work at Aberdeen Proving Ground and the V.A. Maryland Healthcare System from which she retired. She loved the Orioles, crossword puzzles, cross stitching, country music and sewing. Mrs. Fox is survived by her children, Patti Fitt,  Michael Fox, Sharon Fox Gagner and husband, Daniel, Steven Fox and companion, Margaret Stall, and Cheryl Patterson; grandchildren, Terra Boock and husband, Ed, Jody Fitt and fiance, Ellis Doyle, Michael Fox, Jr., Morgan Fox, Victor Gagner, Kristy D'Anna and husband, Andrew; great grandchildren, Abigail and Matthew Boock, Taliah Kornegan, Andon Doyle; and sister, Janet Cole. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin R. McCardell, Jr. and grandson, Andrew Fitt. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2014, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
