Martha Gray Juba, 66 yrs, of Deland, FL, formerly of North East, MD, passed away suddenly on April 22, 2014 at her residence. Born March 31, 1948 in Rich Valley, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Minnie Bise.
As a Registered Nurse, Martha was formerly employed by the V.A. Maryland Health Care System of Perry Point, MD, and was retired from the Delaware State Hospital of Wilmington, DE. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, cross stitching, and gardening.
Martha is survived by her twin sister, Margaret Robinson, and her husband, William, of Deland, FL; brothers, John R. Bise and Thomas W. Bise, both of Marion, VA; step-daughter, Barbara Robichaud of Fort Myers, FL; step-son, Allen Juba of Port Deposit, MD; four step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Martha was a devoted wife, a loving sister, and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Juba; sisters, Dorothy Doyle and Shirley Umbarger; and brother, Travis Bise.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2014, 1 pm, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation will be held Friday, May 2, 2014, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Asbury United Methodist Church, Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
