Martin Raymond Ruyter

Martin Raymond Ruyter, 60 years, of Conowingo, MD, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at his home. Born August 19, 1956 in Takoma Park, MD, he was the son of the late Martinus Maria and Carolina Francisca Maria Ram Ruyter. Martin was employed as a Foreman Mechanic by Amtrak of North East, MD. He is survived by his son, Raymond Stewart Ruyter and wife, Kelly; daughter, Connie Maria Ruyter; three grandchildren; brothers, John, Harry, Paul, Michael, Raymond and Richard; and sisters, Alice, Maria and Carla. In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Michele Ruyter; and sister, Rose. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 12, 2017, 11 AM, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Parish, Perryville, MD, will officiate.
