Mary Kathryn Mcwilliams

Mary Kathryn McWilliams, on October 7, 2014 at the age of 81. Born in Philadelphia to the late Michael and Marie McWilliams (nee Maginnis). Mary graduated from West Catholic High School 1950 and completed her teaching degree at West Chester College 1954. She enjoyed a long teaching career, over 30 years in the Philadelphia School District. Mary moved to Colora, MD, in 1987 and has been a member of St. Agnes Church in Rising Sun where she has played a very active role with the St.Vincent De Paul Society Outreach Program and enjoyed the friendship of her fellow parishioners. Mary is survived by her brothers and sisters, Michael McWilliams, Ian McWilliams, Paula Corcoran (Thomas) and Deirdre Piazzola (Nicholas) and aunt to 16 nieces and nephews, 16 grand nieces and nephews and 6 great grand nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at St. Agnes Church, Rising Sun, MD, Monday, October 13, 2014, 10 AM until 11 AM. A funeral mass will follow at 11 AM. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of Good Shepherd Parish in care of Lee A.
