Mary Kay (Rhoades) Atwell

Mary Kay Rhoades Atwell, 55 yrs, of  Port Deposit, MD, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.  Born November 13, 1957 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Grace Virginia Emory Rhoades. Mary was employed by the V.A. Maryland Health Care System of Perry Point, MD, in Medical Records and was also a Crossing Guard for the Town of Perryville. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Douglas Paul Atwell of Port Deposit, MD; children, Sabrina Moravec, Bobbi Loeffler, and Jamie Atwell; grandchildren, Alexis and Isabelle Moravec, Josh Tome, Brady Malbone, Ciara Loeffler, Cameron and Kianna Tyler; brothers, Charlie Rhoades and wife, Diana, David Rhoades and wife, Dottie, Kenny Rhoades and wife, Lorie, Danny Rhoades and wife, Connie; sister, Evelyn Hanson and husband, Jim; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Rhoades, Jr. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 17, 2012, 1 PM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, December 17, 2012, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Seth Hawkins of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
