Melanie Leigh Boyd

Melanie Leigh Boyd, 59 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center of Bel Air, MD. Born October 23, 1962 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of Arthur L. and Regina H. Boyd.

Melanie is survived by her parents, Arthur L. and Regina H. Boyd; partner and best friend, Eric Christopher Morris and his daughter, Edyn Morris; brothers, Gregory A. Boyd and wife, Anne, and David S. Boyd; sister, Michelle Neff and husband, Randall; one nephew; three nieces; three great nephews; and three great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Good Shepherd Catholic School or to the American Heart Association in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

A private funeral service will be held at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville, MD. Interment will be private in the Mt. Erin Cemetery of Havre de Grace, MD.
