Meyer W. Jensen

Meyer W. Jensen of Rising Sun, MD, died on October 24 with family members by his side. He was a veteran of World War II where he proudly served in the Navy as a member of Underwater Demolition Team No. 28, the forerunner of today’s Navy SEALs. Meyer was a lifetime member of Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135. He was also an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Perryville. Meyer is survived by Estelle, his wife of 66 years, three children, Charles, Nancy and Glenn, two daughters-in-law, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
