Michael Allen Sherrod

Michael Allen Sherrod, 60 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at his residence. Born October 18, 1952, in the Bethesda Naval Hospital, Bethesda, MD, he is the son of James and Rose Marie Casper Sherrod of North Carolina. Michael was a master crane mechanic employed for 32 years by Seaboard Foundations of Woodstock, VA. Michael is survived by his Fiancé and Loving Companion, Ruth Charlton Sedore of Perryville, MD; daughters, Toni Marie Sherrod and husband, David, Katy Lee Bonner and husband, Rob; four grandchildren; three sisters, Rebecca Sherrod and husband, Ron, Phyllis Hyatt and husband, Guy, Stacy MacAlloon and husband, Mac; step-daughter, Tracy Johnson and husband, Dave; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and dear friends, Jack Eldreth, Jr., and wife, Linda, Emory Eldreth, Becky Elderth, Brandon Spiker, Jennifer Spiker. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Hooper Sherrod. Memorial contributions may be made to the Save the Bay Foundation in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 15, 2012, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Rev.
