Mona Dawn (Vickers) Grace

Mona Dawn Grace, 61, of Conowingo went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2017 at home surrounded by loved ones following a battle with breast cancer. She was born June 3, 1955 in Maryland to the late Robert and Leona Vickers. She is the wife of Joseph Grace, Sr., whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Dawn was the best waitress in Cecil County for 40 years. She belonged to Porters Grove Baptist Church. Dawn enjoyed being with her family, laying in the sun, collecting angels, cruising, yard sales, and dressing up for the holidays. She will be remembered for her kind heart, strength, faith in God, awesome macaroni salad, and her love for family. Dawn is survived by her husband, Joseph Grace, Sr.; daughter, Brenda Freyer and husband, Kevin; sons; Joseph Grace, Jr., and wife, Lisa; Jacob Grace and wife, Teresa; grandchildren, Devin, Brady, Peyton, Jenna, Tristan, Tyler, McKynzi, and Logan; brothers, Bob, Michael and Matthew Vickers. In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Vickers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dawn Grace Family Fund on Go Fund Me. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 31, 2017, 1 PM, at Porters Grove Baptist Church of Conowingo, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
