Nestor Samuel Kline, 89 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at his residence. Born March 29, 1926 in McClure, PA, he was the son of the late Henry E. and Margaretta L. Wright Kline.
Nestor came to Maryland in 1950 from McClure, PA. He worked for Mason Dixon Sand and Gravel until he went to work for Dick McDaniel’s Sand and Gravel. Then to work for York Building Stewart Associates. He became superintendent for the Belvidere Plant on Belvidere Road until he retired in 1991. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during WW II.
Nestor is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Martha Arlene Wray Kline of Port Deposit, MD; sons, Dallas Eugene Kline and Leonard Kline both of Port Deposit, MD; two grandsons, Dennis Eugene Kline of Elkton, MD, and Dallas Samuel Kline of North East, MD; four great-grandchildren, Matthew Steven and Dylan Samuel, Joshua Garrett and Nathan Parker; and brother, George E. Kline.
In addition to his parents, Nestor was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry W.
Kline and David O. Kline; sisters, Dorothy Kauffman and Hazel Harker.
