Patsie Patricia (Sanderson) Meck

Patsie Patricia Meck, 89 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Bel Air, MD. Born July 17, 1935 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Henry Earl and Florence Corinne Brinkman Sanderson.

Patsie was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Perryville and the Episcopal Church Women. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 of Perryville, MD, and the Edgewood Ladies Golf Club.

Patsie was formerly employed by the Cecil County Public Schools as a Guidance secretary at the Perryville High School.

Patsie is survived by her daughter, Robin P. Wein and husband, Alfred; son, Daniel S. Meck III, and wife, Kelly; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Patsie was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel S. Meck, Jr., and sister, Vivian Peffer.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Maryland Food Bank, World Central Kitchen, or Camp Wright in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2024, 11 AM, at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Perryville, MD. Bishop Bud Shand and Rev. Susan Oldfather will officiate. Interment will be private.
