Phillip C. Porter

Phillip C. Porter, 67 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the University of Maryland Medical Center of Baltimore, MD. Born February 23, 1951 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late David Porter Sr. and Mary Winters Porter Kruchkas of PA. Phillip was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was currently employed as a truck driver by Kemira Chemical Industry Company of Curtis Bay, MD. Phillip is survived by his wife, Denise Prince Porter of Perryville, MD;  sons, Joshua Porter of Perryville, MD, and Jacob Porter and Lisa Martin of North East, MD; daughter, Amanda Porter and Jack France of North East, MD;  seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters who reside in PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Pinwheels for Prevention (preventchildabuse.org) in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, May 11, 2018, 5 PM until 7 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 11, 2018, 7 PM, at the funeral home. Andy Mussaw will officiate. Interment will be private.
