Rachel Yvonne (Price) Miller

Rachel Yvonne (Price) Miller, 43 years, of North East, MD, surrounded by loved ones, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Christiana Care Union Hospital of Elkton, MD. Born October 17, 1978 in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of Annette Price McClellan and Robert Miller, and granddaughter of Clamon and Marie Price.

Rachel is survived by her loving husband of 5 years, Michael Miller; sons, Brandon Barr, Nicholas Barr, Dakota McClellan, Anthony Alexander, Stephen Miller, and Derek Van Dyke; and sisters, Alayne McClellan and Danielle (McClellan) Fayer.

Rachel was an active member of the community and was a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club. She volunteered her time to several fire companies, including the Water Witch Fire Company and the Charlestown Fire Company, and was an advocate of the Move Over Law. She enjoyed taking care of others and making people laugh. Her smile brightened up every room she entered.

Rachel attended the Church of the Nazarene and the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved teaching and mentoring the children that entered her classroom. She loved having friends and family around her. She very much enjoyed taking mini road trips to pick up marketplace finds, spending time in Gettysburg, and searching antique stores for treasures. She loved watching her boys on the ballfield or wrestling.

Rachel looked forward to spending special moments with her grandmother and taking her Poppy to ball games. Her best times were spent with her loving husband, Mikey. She would sparkle and shine like a diamond when they were together. She loved her family very much. Rest easy our sweet Angel you are well loved.

Rachel was preceded in death by her father, Danny McClellan; grandparents, Ruby Pruitt, Mildred and Charles Brumit, Roea and Helen Price, and Oleita Kirby.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Interment will be private.
