Ralph Schmid

Ralph Schmid, 65 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 in the Christiana Hospital Hospice Care of Newark, DE. Born October 19, 1958 in Berlin, Germany, he was the son of the late Gerhard and Ingebord Shiffmann Schmid.

Mr. Schmid was retired from the Botcher America Corporation of Belcamp, MD, where he was employed as a Quality Manager. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lauren Schmid; his sons, Sascha Schmid and Mattias Schmid; daughters, Sabine Heinz and Sarah Schmid; two grandchildren; and brother, Detlef Schmid.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Schmid was preceded in death by his sister, Angelika Minassian.

A Memorial Service has been scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024, 1 PM until 4 PM, at the 5th Company Brewing, 325 Front Street, Perryville, MD.
