Raymond Edward Sordiff

Raymond Edward Sordiff, 75 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at home. Born July 23, 1949 in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Raymond and Barbara Raymond Sordiff.

Raymond was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and attended the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville, MD. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. Raymond was a life member of the Jerry Skrivanik V.F.W. Post No. 8185 of Port Deposit, MD, a life member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post No. 194, and member of the 29th Division Association, Inc. He was formerly employed by Comcast Cable of Aberdeen, MD, in their underground construction division.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Theresa Sordiff, and son, John Remick.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Remick, and daughter, Amy Remick.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 29, 2025, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Father John Abrahams of Good Shepherd Parish will officiate. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
