Ricardo Xavier Diaz

Ricardo Xavier Diaz, age 42, of North East, Maryland, passed away Monday, March 30th, 2026 in his home. Born June 1st, 1983 in New York, he was the son of Josefina Diaz and the late Johnny Diaz. Ricardo was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a passionate self-employed DJ. In addition, he was a loving and devoted father to his girls and he dreamed of traveling to Puerto Rico before his passing.

He is survived by his loving companion, Melissa Zellman; daughters, Gabriella Diaz, Rosemaria Diaz, Natalia Diaz, Vivyanna Diaz; brothers, Santo Byron and Santo Byron Junior; sisters, Luz-Maria Diaz, Marilyn Kane, Josefina Young, Yazmin Fuentes, and Lizzy Diaz. In addition to his father, Ricardo was preceded in death by his sister, Maribel Diaz.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, April 11th, 2026, 12 noon until 2PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD
