Robert John Gross

Robert John Gross, 71 years, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at his home. Born March 28, 1946 in Frankfort, Germany he was the son of the late Theodore and Anna Schurg Gross. Mr. Gross is survived by his daughters, Annette Walters, Alana Temple, Lynn Muska-Poole and Debra Clark; 13 grandchildren;11great grandchildren; and sister, Cynthia Gross. Mr. Gross was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was previously employed as a counselor by the Veterans Administration in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gross was preceded in death by his wife, Alva Locke Gross, and brother, Charles A. Gross. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A gathering will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017, 1 PM until 8 PM, at the family home located at 30 Thomashire Terrace, Elkton, MD.
