Robert Hamilton Mcmullen, Jr.

Robert H. McMullen, Jr., 94 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Monday, September 16, 2013 in Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center of Havre de Grace, MD.  Born July 6, 1919 in Maryland he was the son of the late Robert H., Sr. and Edna Cunningham McMullen. Mr. McMullen was a veteran of the United States Air Force 565th Air Service Squadron having served in Italy during WW II. Known to his friends as “Bob”, he owned and operated Port Hardware until his retirement. He is survived by his niece, Edna Sentman Lidums and her family of Perryville, MD; son, Robert Santmeyer, Ruth Santmeyer, and their family of Summerville, SC. In addition to his parents, Mr. McMullen was preceded in death by his brother, John Rosby McMullen and sister, Glady McMullen Sentman. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, 2013, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2013, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Lonna Smith will officiate.
