Robert “Slim” Clyde Palmer, 64 yrs, of Colora, MD, died Friday, April 6, 2012 in Upper Chesapeake Hospital, Bel Air, MD. Born October 2, 1947 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late John F. and Ethel F. Nourse Palmer.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post No. 194 for 43 years. He was also a member of the Jerry Skrivanek VFW Post No. 8185 of Port Deposit, MD, and a member of the Purple Heart Maryland Troopers Association.
Robert is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judy A. Phillips Palmer of Colora, MD; son, Wayne Hill and wife, Susan; daughter, Debi Jackson and husband, Bob; brothers, Tony Palmer and wife, Roxanne, Brian Palmer and wife, Lorraine, Richard Palmer and wife, Sandy; sisters, Frances Hash and husband, Rocky and Margaret Sheppard and husband, James.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, 2012, 7 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012, 5 PM until 7 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Interment will be private.
