Robert Ernest Turner

Robert “Robbie” Ernest Turner, 63 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Monday, February 8, 2016 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born August 24, 1952 in Chester, PA, he was the son of Alice M. Reynolds Miller of Port Deposit, MD, and the late Robert J. Turner. Robbie was a member of Tome Memorial United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD. For 30 years he was employed as an electrician by Isaac Watkins, Inc., of Delaware. Robbie loved making birdhouses and working in the yard. He had many dear friends and he loved them all Robbie is survived by his son, Anthony Turner of East New Market, MD; daughters, Courtney Turner Vaughn of Havre de Grace, MD, Lacey Turner of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Kenny Strong, Katelynn Anderson, Jordon Anderson, all of Havre de Grace, MD; sister, Debbie Turner Shreve of Havre de Grace, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tome Memorial United Methodist Church in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 2016, 7 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016, 5 PM until 7PM, at the funeral home prior to the memorial service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Tome Memorial United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be private.
