Roger Dean Hipps

Roger Dean Hipps, 69 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at home. Born October 29, 1952 in Jenkins, KY, he was the son of the late Emerson and Marilynn Maggard Hipps.

Roger was employed as a shipping clerk by Harford Systems of Havre de Grace, MD. He is survived by his son, Emerson D. Hipps and fiancé, Kelly Byersmith; five grandchildren, Britney Hipps and spouse, Kayla Ferguson, Samantha Brigham and spouse, Robert, Dalton Zinn, Nicholas Byersmith, and Jessica Byersmith; three great grandchildren, Kinsley Clark, Adalyn Brigham, and Harper Brigham; and sisters, Nancy Mullins and Sharon Goldman.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Jenny S. Hipps.

Funeral services will be private.
