Roland Clyde Burlin

Roland “Flicker” Clyde Burlin, Jr., 68 years, of Perryville, MD, died Saturday, October 1, 2011, at his residence.  Born July 4, 1943, in West Chester, PA, he was a son of the late Roland “Flicker” Burlin, Sr., and Mazie Weir Burlin. Flicker was a member of the Perryville United Methodist Church, Perryville, MD, the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135, Perryville, MD, and a veteran of the United States Army. He was self-employed and owner/operator of Flicker’s Used Cars of Perryville, MD. Flicker is survived by his wife, JoAnne Smythe Burlin, Perryville, MD; daughter, Renea Anne Reinhart and husband, John, Perryville, MD; granddaughter, Gabrielle Reinhart; sister, Rhonda Burlin Thomas, Perryville, MD; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2011, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Rev. Robert G. Kelly. Interment will be private.
