Ronald D. Hixon

Ronald D. Hixon, 77 yrs, of Colora, MD, died Friday, August 3, 2012 at his residence. Born April 13, 1935 in Raymond, MN, he is the son of the late Harlan and Viola Solseth Hixon. Mr. Hixon was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served from September of 1954 until May of 1973, and was a member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post No. 194 of Rising Sun, MD. Mr. Hixon is survived by his daughters, Cynthia H. Clark and husband, Doug, of Port Deposit, MD, Rhonda DiGennaro and husband, Carl, of Henderson, NV, Kimberly Hixon of Charlestown, MD, Pamela H. Oelschlager and husband, Dan, of Dwight, IL; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sister, Karen Bebler of Eden Prairie, MD. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hixon was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Hixon.
