Rosemary Margaret Parker

Rosemary Margaret Parker, 83 years, of Elkton, MD, formerly of St. Augustine, FL, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in the Christiana Care Union Hospital of Elkton, MD. Born September 3, 1942 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Margaret Gereczy Romano.

Mrs. Parker was formerly employed as a team leader/case manager by the Zurich Insurance Company of Tampa, FL.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her son, William “Bill” Parker and daughters, Margaret “Peggy” Teague and Katherine “Kitty” Hubbs. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Victoria and Meagan Bazlamit.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Parker, and her sister, Carol Bradley.

Mrs. Parker spent many years living in St. Augustine, FL, and always loved the city that introduced her to her husband. Although Mrs. Parker was widowed in 1997, she remained a loving spouse and will be returning to St. Augustine to be buried next to him.

Since 2022, she has been a long-term resident of Autumn Lake at Calvert Manor in Rising Sun, MD. She made many friends among the staff and residents there and she always enjoyed a visit from her dog, Blu.

A graveside service has been scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025, in the Craig Memorial Park of St. Augustine, FL.
