Ruby Olabelle (Johnson) Reynolds

Ruby Olabelle Johnson Reynolds, 93, passed away on July 18, 2012. She was a beloved mother of three sons, a homemaker, and a Bluegrass musician. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and was an avid painter and artist.  She played the guitar with several bluegrass bands in Virginia. Mrs. Reynolds was the daughter of the late Walter and Estella Hurley Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Horace Reynolds; brothers, William Johnson, Walter Johnson, David Johnson and Paul Johnson; sisters, Edna Owens and Annalee Sheckles. Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her sons, Stanley Reynolds and wife, Gilda, of Quarryville, PA., Neal Reynolds and wife, Carol, of Rising Sun, MD;  sister, Helen Graybeal of Conowingo, MD.; grandchildren, Herbert Reynolds, Rhonda Reynolds, Stanley Reynolds, Jason Reynolds, Wendy Filla and husband, Christopher, and three great grandchildren. She may be gone, but will never be forgotten by so many wonderful people that she has touched with her giving and love. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 27, 2012, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.  Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home.  Rev. James B. Jones of Janes United Methodist Church of Rising Sun, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD. Arrangements By Lee A.
