Ruth E. Peterson

Ruth E. Peterson on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, of lung cancer and associated illness. Ruth was born in Baltimore, MD, April 13, l951. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Louis F. Paul, Sr. And Nellie E. Gasser Paul; brother, Louis F. Paul, Jr.; and sisters, Helen A. Paul Bass and Mildred E. Paul Lusby. Ruth is survived by sons, Anthony M. and Glen M. Peterson; daughter-in-law, Stephanie M. Kopp Peterson. Ruth is also survived by her grandchildren, Victoria M. and Andrew J. Peterson, and brother-in-law, David P. Bass, Jr. She had many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great grandnieces and nephews. Ruth was employed by defense contractors AAI/ESI and Dynamic Science, Inc., during her 24 years at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. She began her employment with AAI/ESI in June 1986, and began working for Dynamic Science, Inc., in July 1994, and for the last ten or so years worked in the industrial security area of contracting. She appreciated the opportunity. Ruth medically retired in August 2010 due to her illness. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 19, 2012, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, March 18, 2012, 3 PM until 5 PM and 7 PM until 9 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
