Sharon Diane (Mccracken) Thayer

Sharon Diane Thayer, 49 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Friday, November 9, 2012, at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.  Born December 30, 1962, in Washington County, VA, she was the daughter of Mary Louise Creasy McCracken and the late Everett V. McCracken. Sharon was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Oblates of St. Francis DeSales of Elkton, MD. Sharon is survived by her son, Brandon Fredric Douglas Thayer of Conowingo, MD; brothers and sisters, Cora Ellen Bartlebauth, Ralph Junior McCracken, Linda Lou Montgomery, Judy Ann Moutain, Ronnie Dean McCracken and Everett Vance McCracken. In addition to her father, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Kenton “Kent” Thayer and brother, Larry Allen McCracken, Sr. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 15, 2012, 1 PM, at Restore Church, 616 Ontario Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
