Sharon Susan Tuerke

Sharon Susan Tuerke, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at home. Born February 6, 1953 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Doris Mercer. Sharon is survived by her husband of 47 years, William A. Tuerke IV of Elkton, MD; sons, William Tuerke and wife, Jennifer, and Robert Tuerke and wife, Traci; daughter, Jennifer LePore and fiance’, Roger Owens; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Earl McCauley, George McCauley, and Pete McCauley; sisters, Angela Hedler, Patricia Harp, and Darlene Spencer. In addition to her mother, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Bob McCauley; sister, Kathy Wallace; and grandson, Christopher LePore. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Monday, September 24, 2018, 2 PM until 4 PM, and 7 Pm until 9 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora,  MD.
