Shirley Jayne (Brown) Brannan Sentman

Shirley Jayne Brannan Sentman, 89 years, of Athens, AL, formerly of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 in Athens. Born June 23, 1935 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer Edmund and Grace Dorothy Jackson Brown.

Shirley was a member of the former Tome Memorial United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD. She was a very active member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Water Witch Fire Company of Port Deposit, MD.

Shirley is survived by her son, Scott Ira Brannan and wife, Teresa, of Athens, AL; and grandsons, Jack Brannan and Matthew Brannan.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husbands, William Ira Brannan and Rodney Lee Sentman; and daughter, Wendy Jayne Brannan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Water Witch Fire Company in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Asbury Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
