Shirley Mae Miller, 95, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Shirley was born September 1, 1930 to the late Ralph and Hazel Vanpelt of North East, MD.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Jessica R. Adam (Dennis); son, Edward W. Miller, Jr.; grandchildren, Shannon, April, Nicholas and Eric; and great-granddaughter, Courtney.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Miller, and daughter, Vanessa L. Miller.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 15, 2025, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, September 15, 2025, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
