Stanley "Bo" Robert Pierce

Stanley “Bo” Robert Pierce, 81 years, of Rising Sun, MD, passed Friday, February 27, 2026 at his son’s home in Chattanooga, TN. Born April 29, 1944 in Farmington, MD, he was the son of the late Isaac Edward Pierce and Stella McCall Reynolds.

Bo was a member of the Rising Sun Seventh Day Adventist Church where he served as a Head Elder and was a founding member of the Gospel Strings Ministries. He was formerly employed as a painter by the Lincoln University of Lincoln University, PA.

Bo is survived by his son, Samuel Pierce (Kimberly); son-in-law, Mark Williams; grandchildren, Kayla Anderson (Jeremy), Wade Pierce, Rebecca Pierce, Robert McMullen (Ashley), Chelsea Calhoun (Josh), Pierce Williams, Chase Williams, and Luke Williams; and great-grandson, Carter Calhoun.

Bo was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Tome Pierce; daughter, Renee Lynn Williams; brothers, James Pierce, Lawrence Pierce, Edward Pierce, David Wayne Pierce, and Joseph; and sisters, Ruth Puff, May Wright, and Betty Mick.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 9, 2026, 11 AM, at the Rising Sun Seventh Day Adventist Church of Rising Sun, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, March 8, 2026, 5 PM until 7 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Pastor Ken Coleman of the Rising Sun Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
