Stephen Poole Gilman

Stephen Poole Gilman, 65 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD.  Born April 19, 1948 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Dawson S. and Frances Poole Gilman. Mr. Gilman was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, and is survived by his wife, S. Jane Hostetter Gilman of Conowingo, MD; son, Stephen P.J. Gilman; daughter, Leah Renee Lust; step-daughter, Leslie Fossett-Fox; two grandchildren; sisters, Lisa Ayers and Gail Barclay. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gilman was preceded in death by his brother, John Seaton Gilman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Water Witch Fire Company in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 20, 2013, 11 AM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD.  Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013, 10 AM until 11 AM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church prior to the funeral service.  Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate.
