Sue Ann (Speakes) Gray

Sue Ann Gray, 81 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her residence. Born April 22, 1933 in Missouri, she was one of seven children to the late Ernest C. and Netti Clara Garrett Speakes. Mrs. Gray was formerly employed by the Conowingo Country Store for many years where she enjoyed making subs and adding her own touch of TLC. Mrs. Gray is survived by her two sons, Delbert Gray, of Peach Bottom, PA, and John Gray and wife Cindy, of Conowingo, MD; two granddaughters, Tiffany Ann Gray and Maggie Sue Gray, both of Conowingo, MD; one grandson, Braden James Spells; one great granddaughter, Aubree Sue Gray; and three step grandsons. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Gray. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 6, 2014, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Tracy Duvall of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church of Street, MD, will officiate. Interment will be at West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
