Susan Christine (Kick) Hughes

Susan Christine Hughes, 59 yrs, of Rising Sun, MD, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.  Born April 16, 1953 in Maryland she was the daughter of the late Milton and Margaret Lux Kick. Mrs. Hughes was a homemaker and is survived by her son, R.J. Shields of Fallston, MD; daughters, Margie Hughes and Carolyn Hughes-Meurer both of Rising Sun, MD; five grandchildren; brothers, Timothy Kick and Milton Kick, Jr. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hughes. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2013, 4 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013, 10 AM until 12 Noon and 2 PM until 4 PM, at the funeral home. Rev. Mike Moore of the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, Nottingham, PA, will officiate. Interment will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013, 12 Noon, in Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
