Teresa Lynn (Drummond) Fitzpatrick

Teresa Lynn Fitzpatrick (Drummond) Sunrise: March 24, 1962 Sunset:  April 24, 2012 Teresa was a blessing bestowed on Ted Drummond and the late Betty Jo Ward on March 24, 1962 in Milford, Delaware. God called her soul home on April 24, 2012 at her home in Perryville, Maryland. Teresa married Michael Joseph Fitzpatrick, Sr., in September of 1983. During their union they were blessed with three children; Nicole Lynn, Michael Joseph and Tiffany Renee. Teresa was later blessed by the birth of her second son, Dale Alison, with her long-time companion, the late Norman Heck. Teresa was known for her kind and fun spirit and especially for her great love of animals. She enjoyed spending time outdoors; she and her sister, Linda, shared fun times outside as children and would often be heard singing the song, “Mrs. Robinson”. Teresa loved music and singing. She shared that love of music with her children and grandchildren. Teresa was loved by her many friends. She liked to spend time with her friends cooking and listening to music. She spent a great deal of time with close friend and confidant, Charles “Chuckie” Willin. Chuckie and Teresa were like two peas in a pod; they could always be found together. Chuckie was a constant companion and support for Teresa until the end. Her children would like to take this time to give Chuckie a special thank you for all that he did for Teresa in life and subsequently in death. Teresa was not only a loving mother, but she was also the Mum-Mum of eight loving grandchildren; Ashton Michael, Tegan Allen, Roan Jaxon, Kaden Lee and Irelynn Janae (Nicole) Jordon (Michael), Tamara Renee and Jaden Joseph (Tiffany). Teresa was a loving and caring woman who was cherished and will be missed by a host of family, friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. She leaves behind her four siblings; Shelly Drummond, Stephen Drummond, Linda Hopkins, Lee Drummond, Diane Drummond (deceased) and Richard Drummond (deceased). Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Father Robert R. Smith of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Principio Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
