Thomas Franklin Hayden

Thomas Franklin Hayden, 82 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at his residence. Born November 9, 1931in Marion, VA, he was the son of the late Henry and Virgie Rowland Hayden. Mr. Hayden was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Elkton, MD, and was retired from General Motors of Wilmington, DE. Mr. Hayden love God, his family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Thomas F. Hayden, Jr., of Conowingo, MD and Henry Hayden of Perryville, MD; daughters, Linda Absher of Elkton, MD, Shannon Smith of Colora, MD, Janice Adams of Port Deposit, MD; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, John Hayden; sisters, Virginia Stoneman, Helen Dollenger and Janie Howell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hayden was preceded in death by his grandson, Shane Wilson; brothers, Henry Hayden, Jr. and Robert Hayden. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2014, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2014, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Little Britain Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Peach Bottom, PA.
