Thomas Joseph Michelotti, Jr., 68 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 peacefully in Heartland Hospice House of Wilmington, DE, after a long battle with cancer. Born September 29, 1944 in Iowa, he was the son of the late Thomas Joseph, Sr. and Marie Vander Broke Michelotti.
Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army. His lifetime career was in the automotive aftermarket in sales which included New Britain Hand Tool Company and Johnson Controls as a sales representative for the NAPA and Motorcraft Battery Division, and also Exide Corporation in the NAPA Division. He is survived by his loving wife, Randa Thiele of Port Deposit, MD; sister, Joann Baker; brothers, Joseph Michelotti, Jack Michelotti, Tony Michelotti; and sisters, Ann O’Neill and Alice Smith.
Tom was an active member of Tomes Landing and will be remembered by his friends for his tireless involvement in the community, marina board and local town events. Tom raced motorcycles, was an avid NASCAR fan and snow skier. He also enjoyed water skiing, jet skiing and boating.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 24, 2013, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Deacon Luke Yackley of Good Shepherd Parish of Perryville, MD, will officiate. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013, 2:30 PM, in Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
