Thomas Phillip Walker

Thomas “Groundhog” Phillip Walker, 57 yrs, of Rising Sun, MD, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, MD.  Born October 30, 1956 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Nora Meadows Walker and the late Thomas A. Walker. Mr. Walker was a member of VFW Post No. 6613 of Lenni, PA, and was formerly employed by Delaware Metals of Wilmington, DE, as a machinist. Mr. Walker is survived by his fiancé, Jeanne Moody; step-son, Jason Yurth; brothers, Christopher Walker and wife, Danielle, David Walker and wife, Jeannie; sisters, Robin Cole, Sharon Walker, Beth Insley; and one grandson. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his wife, Candy Walker. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 25, 2013, 2 PM, at Restore Church, 616 Ontario Street, Havre de Grace, MD.  Pastor Jess Bousa of Restore Church, Havre de Grace, MD, will officiate.
