Thomas Owen Wood, Sr.

Thomas Owen Wood, Sr., 74 years, of Conowingo, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center of Bel Air, MD. Born May 13, 1947 in West Virginia he was the son of the late Thomas B. and Emma Clark Wood.

Mr. Wood retired in 2018 from the Aberdeen Proving Ground Defense Department of Aberdeen, MD, where he was employed as an Equipment Specialist.

Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Kathleen Patricia O’Donnell Wood; sons, Thomas O Wood, Jr., and wife, Dr. Jacqueline M. Fignar, and Joseph G. Wood and wife, Milissa K. Wood; daughter, Rose M. Delp and husband, Dewitt L. Delp; and 13 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Wood, and sister, Anna Lea Wood.
