Timothy Ray VanderWiele of Perryville, MD, died January 20, 2012. He was 47 years old. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Jessie M. Blackburn VanderWiele and the late Francis J. VanderWiele.
Tim was an active member of his community where he coached softball for the Perryville Little League and worked concession stands. He was passionate for his award winning cream of crab soup which he served at local events. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Tim is survived by his wife of 22 years, Michele Pasta VanderWiele; two daughters, Alix Nicole and Skylar Rae; mother, Jessie VanderWiele; father-in-law, Salvatore Pasta; brothers, Alan F. VanderWiele and wife, Pam, and Kenneth VanderWiele and wife, Marianne; brothers-in-law, Michael Pasta and Joseph Pasta and wife, Madelene. Tim is also survived by five nephews and three nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the VanderWiele Children Memorial Fund in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 25, 2012, 11 AM, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2012, 5 PM until 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Parish will officiate. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
