Virginia Ann (Detamore) Kommalan

Virginia “Ginny” Ann Kommalan, 60 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at her residence.  Born June 19, 1950, in Cowen, WVA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Lee and Hazel Maxine Knight Detamore. Ginny was employed as a bank teller by PNC Bank of Elkton, MD. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Kommalan, Perryville, MD; sister, Karen J. Wrightson; and brother, Robert Lee Detamore. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 2, 2011, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.  Visitations for family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011, 7-9 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, June 2, 2011, 2 PM, at Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD. Arrangements by Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.
